A fantastic opportunity to join a leading IT specialist business in the Beaconsfield area as an IT Support Engineer providing 1st and 2nd line support with the highest level of service to their Head Office client base. The ideal candidate will share their passion for building long lasting client relationships and love technology, they will have a keen willingness to learn and be a natural problem solver.

This is a growing team of around 60 staff who work hard but have fun.  They encourage their employees to develop further skill through both technical training and hands-on, real world experience.

The Role:

  • To provide 1st and 2nd line remote support and solutions to our clients (incoming requests by phone and email)
  • Work alongside Professional Services and Account Manager teams fixing issues
  • Ensure accurate case logs are noted for all incidents at all times
  • Support and consult with 1st line team members as an escalation point
  • Handle VIP support requests
  • Liaise on behalf of clients with our clients 3rd parties
  • Work to internal client service level agreements and first time fix targets
  • Support other members of the Client Services team and other departments as required


Ideal Experience required:

  • Experience working in a managed services helpdesk environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A team player but able to work individually
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Ability to self-organise and prioritise case load
  • Ability to pass DBS check
  • Windows Server (2008-2019)
  • Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory Sync
  • Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Print Management
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • Server Hardware (Dell, HP, Lenovo)
  • Troubleshooting firewalls/routers, wireless access points and switches
