My client is an established Chartered Accountancy firm based in Bucks providing high quality financial services to a broad range of clients. From charities to solicitors, media to estate agents.
They are currently recruiting for a Full Time (will consider Part time) experienced Payroll Professional/Bookkeeper. You must have bureau/practice experience and be able to multi task, have a hands on approach and be able to work to deadlines.
You will preferably have a working up to date knowledge of Sage Payroll, Word, and ideally knowledge of the Iris Time Management/Database System would be a plus. Experience of CIS would also be an advantage.
Portfolio size is approximately one hundred for processing each month. Payrolls range from simple two man payrolls to large company schemes. The candidate must be able to calculate pro rated payments, holiday entitlement, Maternity, Paternity and Shared Leave payments and have a working knowledge of Auto Enrolment. Candidates must have experience with contacting clients for information, setting up Auto Enrolment schemes and uploading files to the various pension providers.
You will spend your time split between payroll and bookkeeping. Bookkeeping experience in a similar role required. Xero and QuickBooks experience would be preferable.
